IBM Maximo SaaS Flex
IBM® Maximo® SaaS Flex is an offering that is supported by IBM’s SRE team. The SRE team has been hosting Maximo systems for over 10 years and has deep experience provisioning and supporting Maximo in the IBM Cloud®.
The IBM team is solely focused on Maximo and TRIRIGA® on Cloud delivery, providing managed IT Admin services for both the infrastructure and operational support of Maximo to customers through a ticketing (case) portal.
Customers interact with the SRE team via case creation, interaction, and followup.
The core team is based out of London, Ontario, Canada with supporting team members located in the US, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ireland, India, China, and Australia.
IBM Maximo SaaS Flex is an internet-based offering that runs over HTTPS. There is no private cloud or direct connect option for IBM Maximo SaaS Flex.
Additional connectivity for backend interfaces, database connections, log file access and LDAP authentication can be supported over VPN and SFTP connections.
IBM Db2® is the default database that is used for IBM on Cloud (Oracle can be configured as an option).
IBM Maximo SaaS Flex is an IBM managed subscription based hosting service.
