Creating users

Create a user account to allow a person to access IBM Controller Disclosure Management.

About this task

Each user must be mapped to an existing IBM Controller user account.

Before you begin, ensure the following:

  • Ensure that the user exists in IBM Controller.
  • Confirm that you have administrator privileges in IBM Controller Disclosure Management.

Procedure

  1. In the side navigation panel, click Users.
  2. Click Create user.
  3. On the User details screen, enter the required information.
  4. Click Next to navigate to the Project permissions screen and assign the required project permissions.
  5. Click Next to navigate to the Style sheet permissions screen and assign the required style sheet permissions.
  6. Click Save.

Results

The user account is created and appears in the user list. The user can log in to IBM Controller Disclosure Management using their IBM Controller credentials, subject to the permissions assigned.

What to do next

Note: Username is a mandatory field and cannot be modified after the user is created. The username is used as the key for mapping the IBM Controller Disclosure Management user account to the corresponding IBM Controller user.
