Mapping financial data from IBM Controller

Financial data mapping links each report statement to an IBM Controller form, defining which data is retrieved and how it is displayed in the report.

Financial data mapping is performed at the statement form level within a project. Each statement form is linked to a specific IBM Controller form that provides the underlying account data.

When you create a statement form within a project section, you select the relevant IBM Controller form. The system then retrieves rows and values from that form and maps them to the columns defined in the report.

Key mapping concepts:

Form selection
Links the statement to an IBM Controller form, such as the income statement form or balance sheet form.
Column definitions
Maps IBM Controller data columns — such as closing version and contribution version — to report columns with user-defined labels.
Row visibility
Individual rows can be configured to display or hide based on data conditions, using the Show if zero and Always hide options.
Note: The names applied to statement forms in IBM Controller Disclosure Management are display labels only. The actual data mapping is determined by the IBM Controller form that you select, not by the label you assign to the statement.
