Configuring for archiving incoming documents

You can archive documents by creating work items in an SAP workflow, by processing their bar codes, or by using simultaneous archiving. Use work items if you want to include the linking process in more complex routing processes. Also, use work items if your scanning application creates a description file and you want to transfer document information from the description file to the SAP workflow.
