Generating the Application Support Extension installation image
Generate an Application Support Extension installation image.
Procedure
- Right-click on the Application Support Extension project and select IBM Tivoli > Create Application Support Extension Install Image.
- In the Application Support Extension Information window, enter the directory where the image is to be placed.
- Your Application Support Extension must have its own product
code. Enter the registered product code for your new agent. You can
use one of the product codes that are reserved for use with the Agent
Builder. The allowed values are
K00-K99,K{0-2}{A-Z}, andK{4-9}{A-Z}.Note: These values are for internal use only and are not intended for agents that are to be shared or sold. If you are creating an agent to be shared with others, you must send a note to toolkit@us.ibm.com to reserve a product code. The request for a product code must include a description of the agent to be built. A product code is then assigned, registered, and returned to you. When you receive the three-letter product code, you are told how to enable the Agent Builder to use the assigned product code. - Enter the name of the Application Support Extension.
- Enter a description of the Application Support Extension.
- Enter a version for the Application Support Extension in
the
VVRRMMFFformat wherevv= version number;rr= release number;mm= modification number (fix pack number); andff= interim fix number. - Click Finish.
