Installing
You can install Cloud Automation Manager Community Edition or Cloud Automation Manager in your IBM Cloud Private environment.
The Community Edition is a free trial that is available on IBM Cloud Private Community Edition. It is functionally equivalent to the full version, but is not supported for production use.
The Cloud Automation Manager is the full version that is purchased. It is downloaded from IBM Passport Advantage either as product ID to insert during deployment of an online installation or as an offline installation package.
- Cloud Automation Manager offline - The environment where you are installing Cloud Automation Manager does not have access to the internet. In offline installation, you must first download all installation packages to your local environment.
- Cloud Automation Manager online - The environment where you are installing Cloud Automation Manager must have access to the internet so that the installation packages can be retrieved.
