Including custom classes on WebSphere

About this task

When deploying Sterling Call Center as Web services on WebSphere®, if you have developed custom Java™ classes (user exits, event handlers, and so forth) you need to deploy them in order for them to be available.

To ensure that your custom classes get invoked, do the following:

  1. Create a JAR file with all your custom classes.
  2. Place this JAR file in a folder structure based on the package name.
  3. Rebuild the EAR.

The custom classes are automatically included in the smcfs.ear file.
