To integrate IBM Sterling Configurator with the IBM Sterling Business Center
application:
Procedure

Under
<INSTALL_DIR>/repository/eardata/sbc/war/sbc/common
directory, create a directory called configurator.

From the supplied Visual Modeler (with omni-configurator) DVD or DVD image, extract
the configuratorUI.zip archive package, present inside the
omni-configurator folder, to your system.

Extract the ConfiguratorUI.zip file to the
<INSTALL_DIR>/repository/eardata/sbc/war/sbc/common/configurator
directory.

Add the following properties in the
<INSTALL_DIR>/properties/customer_overrides.properties
file:

Set the value to true or false if you want to enable or disable
the IBM Sterling Configurator integration.

Set the value to the server URL where IBM Sterling Configurator application is hosted.

Set the value to the organization code used in IBM Sterling Configurator configuration when
creating a storefront.
For example: yfs.yic.omniconfigurator.Matrix.orgCode=Matrix

Define the IBM Sterling Configurator properties in the Applications Manager as described in
the topic here.

Rebuild and redeploy the Sterling Order Management System Software application EAR
(smcfs.ear).
Results
After this integration the IBM Sterling Business Center application will launch the new IBM Sterling Configurator on the Update Configuration action for preconfigured items. By
default, IBM Sterling Business Center application launches the IBM Sterling Configurator on the
Update Configuration action for preconfigured items.
