Single points of failure
Single points of failure (SPOF) are points at which a system failure might occur in your data center, if the wrong configuration is set.
The number of SPOF increases as a system grows in size and complexity. Within the four walls of the data center, potential single points of failure include:
- Node
- Database Server
- SAN or Disk Subsystem
- Sterling™ Order Management System Software Components
- Server Registry
- Message Queues
- Networked File Systems
