Understand the common user interface elements

To get the most out of Sterling Call Center, it is important to understand the user interface elements of the application.

The following table describes the user interface elements:

Elements Description
CSR Message
Each screen in the application shows appropriate customer messages to assist you during customer interactions.
Scratchpad
Click the Scratchpad icon to take notes when you are interacting with a customer. As you cannot save the notes that are entered in scratchpad, you can copy the notes to any other editor for later reference.
Note: The notes that are entered in scratchpad are lost if you log out of the application or the current session ends.
Next button in the wizard
Click Next to save the data on the current screen and go to the next screen in the wizard. For example, in the Create Business screen, if you enter the mandatory parameters and click Next, the business customer record is created even though you do not create a business customer contact. However, you can always choose to delete the customer record, if you cancel creating a contact.
