Recovery procedures

Given the extensive list of tasks to recover a system, especially for cold site recovery, the disaster recovery process must be very well-documented and tested. Equally important, these procedures and the entire system must be placed under strict change control and management.

Changes to the system must be properly reflected in the recovery procedures. The procedures must be tested as part of the change.
