Viewing price match details

You can view the details of a price match record and modify the details if required.

Procedure

  1. Log on to Sterling™ Call Center. The Home page opens.
  2. Go to the Manage Price Match screen by doing the following steps:
    1. In the Related Tasks panel, click Price Match Search The Price Match Search screen opens.
    2. Enter the appropriate details and click Search. If the search results in a single price match record, the Manage Price Match screen opens. If the search results in multiple price match records, the list of records that match the search criteria is displayed. Select the price match record that you want to view.
    The enterprise that is offering the price match, a brief description, status, and expiration date are displayed. The status of the price match can be Approved, Pending, or Rejected.
    • If the status of the price match is "Pending" or "Rejected", the status, expiration date, competitor unit price, and competitor discount attributes can be modified.
    • If the status of the price match is in "Approved", only the description and expiration date fields are editable. The user cannot change the status of an "Approved" price match to "Rejected".

    You can view the competitor, competitor's unit price, competitor's discount, and so on. You can also view the order lines and the order quantity for which the price match is applicable.

    Only if you have appropriate permissions, you can approve or a reject a price match for the associated order lines.

    If you change the price match record and want the adjustments to be applied to the associated orders, click Confirm.
