When customers want a price match, they usually call and
refer to the product and the competitor store where they found the
product at a cheaper price. The user can look through the system to
see whether a price match exists for the product and whether the price
match is approved by the management or not.
-
Log on to Sterling™ Call Center. The Home page
opens.
- In the Related Tasks panel, click Price
Match Search. The Price Match Search screen
opens.
If you have access to multiple enterprises, you
can select the appropriate enterprise for which the price match record
is created.
- In the Product ID field, enter the
identifier of the product for which you want to match the competitor's
price.
- In the Competitor field, select
the competitor whose price you want to match for the current product.
The competitor list is populated based on the enterprise that is selected
or the logged in user's enterprise.
You can also search
based on the status and expiration dates of the price match record.
- Click Search.
If the
search results in a single price match record, the Manage
Price Match screen opens. If the search results in multiple
price match records, the list of records that match the search criteria
is displayed. Double-click the price match record that you want to
view.
