Adding related products and services to an order

A product or service can have several related products or services associated with them. If a customer wants to purchase the related product or service as well, you can add the preferred related product or service when you create or modify the order.

Procedure

  1. Log on to Sterling™ Call Center. The Home page opens.
  2. Go to the Add Products screen in one of the following ways:
    • If you are creating an order, follow the order creation wizard.
    • If you are modifying a draft order, search for the order and follow the order creation wizard.

    You must add a product to the order before you can add its related products or services. Each product is displayed as an order line.

  3. Click an order line to view its details in the adjacent panel. Products that are associated with the selected order line are displayed in tabbed panels that are identified by the relevant association type such as Cross-Sells, Up-Sells, Provided Services and so on.
  4. Click an association type to see the list of related products or services that belong to the selected association type.
  5. Click Add To Order corresponding to the related product or service that you want to add to the order. The product or service is added and displayed under the parent product in the Order Lines panel.
