Delete an asset from a catalog

You can delete an asset from a catalog if you do not want any of the electronic media objects to be associated with the catalog.

About this task

To delete an asset from a catalog:

1. Navigate to the Catalog List screen. To navigate to the Catalog List screen, perform the following steps:
   1. Log in to Sterling™ Business Center as an Item Administrator.
   2. The application home page is displayed. Click the Products tab.
   3. From the Products home page, click Manage Catalogs in the Catalog dashlet.

      The Catalog List screen is displayed.

2. Click the corresponding Catalog ID hyperlink.
3. The Catalog Management screen is displayed. In the Related Tasks panel, click Manage Catalog Assets.
4. The Catalog Assets panel is displayed. Select the check box adjacent the asset you want to delete.
5. Click Delete.
6. A message asking you for confirmation is displayed. Click Yes to delete the asset.

   The asset is deleted from the catalog.
