Associate an organization to a seller entitlement

When you associate an organization to a seller entitlement, the organization is entitled to access all the categories specified under the entitlement. You can assign only a subcatalog organization to a seller entitlement.

About this task

You can associate an organization to a seller entitlement from the Seller Entitlement rule.

To associate an organization to a seller entitlement:

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Seller Entitlement Search screen. To navigate to the Seller Entitlement Search screen, perform the following steps:
    1. Log in to Sterling™ Business Center as an Item Administrator.
    2. The application home page is displayed. Click the Products tab.
    3. From the Products home page, click Find Entitlements in the Storefront Management dashlet.

      The Seller Entitlement Search screen is displayed.

  2. Enter the search criteria, click Search to view a list of all the available entitlements. Alternatively, use either the Basic Search or the Advanced Search option to narrow down the list of entitlements displayed.
  3. The search results are displayed in the Entitlement panel. Click the Entitlement ID hyperlink corresponding to the entitlement to which you want to associate an organization. Alternatively, double-click the row containing the corresponding Entitlement ID.
  4. The Entitlement Detail panel is displayed. Click the Storefronts tab.
  5. In the StoreFronts area, click Add.
  6. The Basic Subcatalog Search dialog box is displayed. Enter the search criteria, and click Search to view a list of all the available subcatalog organizations.
  7. A list of subcatalog organizations is displayed. Select the check box adjacent the corresponding Storefront ID, and click Save.

    The selected storefront is associated to the entitlement, and added to the list of storefronts under the StoreFronts tab.
