Installing Application Server using
command line on Windows, UNIX, or Linux
Before you begin
Ensure that you have installed the following products
before you proceed with installing Sterling™ Call Center.
IBM Installation Manager.
Sterling Order Management System Software.
About this task
This topic provides instructions on how to install the applications
using the IBM Installation Manager command line (imcl) installation
command. The imcl command provides a text-based
(non-GUI) interface.
Indicates the directory where the IBM Installation Manager is
installed.
If you have not already added the repository location to the IBM Installation Manager,
perform the following steps. Otherwise, skip to Step 3.
Type P to select Preferences and press Enter.
Type 1 to select Repositories and press Enter.
Type D to select Add Repository and press Enter.
Enter the location of the repository location and press Enter.
Type A to apply the changes and return to Preferences
and press Enter.
Type R to return to the main menu and press Enter.
Install the applications as follows:
Type 1 to install and press Enter.
Type the number associated with the package and press Enter.
Type 1 to choose version 10.0 and press Enter.
Type N and press Enter.
Type A to accept the license agreement.
Type N and press Enter.
Type M to change the location where Sterling Order Management System Software is
installed, using the IBM Installation Manager.
Enter the location where Sterling Order Management System Software is
installed and press Enter.
Type N and press Enter.
Type the feature number of the application you want
to install and press Enter.
Type N and press Enter.
Type I to install and press Enter. A progress
indicator shows the percentage of installation completed.
After the installation is complete, the installation
status is displayed.
Note: The language packs that you selected during installation
are copied to the installation directory in the following format: <isccs><version>_<lang>_<country
code>_<version>.zip. You must manually delete the zip
files.
