Networked file systems in Sterling Order Management System Software
If you choose this approach, consider implementing a highly available NFS to prevent an outage of the NFS server from creating an application outage. Losing the NFS server crashes all the servers of Sterling™ Order Management System Software.
Some customers prefer to implement Sterling Order Management System Software on a networked file system (NFS). With this approach, all mounted nodes can access all the shared folders. Changes are made to the shared files. In contrast, changes do not have to be pushed out to every node if files were stored on local disks.
