Configuring products

You can view all the details of a product such as the product description, list price, unit price, allowed fulfillment methods, and so on.

Procedure

  1. Log on to Sterling™ Call Center. The Home page opens.
  2. Go to the Product Details screen of the product that you want to configure.
  3. Click Configure and Add to Order. The IBM Configurator window opens.
    Note: If product is configurable and not preconfigured, Configure and Add to Order is displayed. However, if the product is preconfigured, then you can directly add the product to the order.
  4. Select the appropriate options and configure the product according to customer's needs.
  5. Click Apply.
    • If no draft orders are open, a new order is created and the product is added to the order.
    • If a single draft order is open, the product is added to that order.
    • If multiple draft orders are open, an Add to Order window opens. You can perform one of the following tasks:
      • Select one of the orders and click Select. The product is added to the order.
      • If you want to add the product to a new order, click Create New Order and follow the order creation wizard.

    Once the product is added to the order, you are taken to the Add Products screen from where you can continue with order creation.
