Associating an alert with an order

You can associate an alert with an order to notify users about the appropriate tasks to be done. For example, you can create an alert to find the potential duplicates of an order.

Procedure

  1. Log on to Application Server. The Home page opens.
  2. Go to the Manage Alert screen by doing the following steps:
    1. In the Related Tasks panel, click Alert Search. The Alert Search screen opens.
    2. In the Alert Search Criteria panel, enter the details necessary to search the alert, and click Search. If your search results in a single alert, the alert details are displayed. If your search returns in multiple alerts, the list of alerts is displayed. Select the alert to view its details.
  3. Select Order as the association.
  4. Click the Search icon corresponding to the Order Number field.
  5. In the Order Search Criteria panel, enter the appropriate details, and click Search.
  6. In the Search Results panel, select an order, and click Select. The alert is associated with the order.
  7. Click Confirm to save the changes to the alert.
