Modify the resource pool details

You can modify the resource pool description.

About this task

A resource pool represents the group of individual resources that perform the services. It is the primary mechanism of defining and managing capacity within the Inventory Management module.

1. Navigate to the Resource Pools screen. To navigate to the Resource Pools screen, perform the following steps:
   1. Log in to Sterling™ Business Center as an Inventory Administrator.
   2. The Home page is displayed. In the Switch to drop-down menu in the upper right corner of the screen, select the organization for which you want to manage capacity.
   3. Click the Inventory tab. The Inventorypage is displayed.
   4. Click Manage Node Capacity in the Node Configuration dashlet. The Resource Pools screen is displayed.
2. From the list of resource pools, click the resource pool ID for which you want to modify the description. The Manage Standard Capacity screen is displayed.
3. From Related Tasks panel, click Manage Primary Information. The Manage Primary Information screen is displayed.
4. In the Resource Pool Description field, modify the existing description.
5. Click Save.

Results

For the selected resource pool, the modified description is displayed.
