Closing an alert

You can close invalid alerts and alerts that are resolved.

Procedure

  1. Log on to Application Server. The Home page opens.
  2. Go to the Manage Alert screen by doing the following steps:
    1. In the Related Tasks panel, click Alert Search. The Alert Search screen opens.
    2. In the Alert Search Criteria panel, enter the details necessary to search the alert, and click Search. If your search results in a single alert, the alert details are displayed. If your search returns in multiple alerts, the list of alerts is displayed. Select the alert to view its details.
  3. From the Status list, select Closed. The Add Note window opens.
  4. In the Note field, enter an appropriate note, and click Confirm. The note is saved to the alert.
    Note: For closed alerts, you can modify only the associated notes.
