Configuring version-specific rules

As an advanced configuration, you can specify different values for rules based on the version of the application that is accessing the rule.

To configure version-specific rules:

Procedure

  1. In the Channel Applications Manager, click the Expand icon adjacent to System Administration to expand the branch.
  2. Click the Advanced Configurations link.
  3. Click Configure Version-Specific Rules.
  4. To configure the rules with the default values, select the Default Value option.

    To configure the rules based on a version-specific qualifier, select the Version-Specific Rule For Qualified Tag option and select a qualifier from the Qualifier drop-down list.

  5. In the Rules For Displaying Fulfillment Summary Screens panel, select the type of Fulfillment Summary screen to be displayed, and select a scheduling rule from the Scheduling Rule For Additional Shipping Option drop-down list. Click the Save icon.
  6. In the Rule For Enabling Tax Options For Business Customers panel, select the Change Tax Options for a business customer check box to enable users to change the tax options defined for a business customer. Click the Save icon.
    Note: If you have selected a qualifier, but have not configured any of the rule values, a message is displayed, indicating that the rule values are not configured for the qualifier.
