Document displays a Microsoft Word document.
You can perform many common tasks with the Document widget. See the tasks in the related links for information about these common tasks.
If you can edit the page, you can configure the Document widget.
The Document widget has a single configuration setting. In the field, type the URL for the document that you want this widget to display. For example:
http://example.com/
If you can edit the page, you can wire the Document widget to other widgets so that it receives and broadcasts events.
Many widgets create wires automatically when they are added to a page. You can also create wires manually. Manually wiring a widget is a task that requires understanding of how to wire an event broadcast by one widget to an event received by another widget. You might need to create a script to transform the payload content of the broadcast event into a format understood by the receiving event.
For information about how to use the Widget Wiring window to wire this widget, see Wiring widgets.
