When you migrate from an earlier version of IBM® Business Monitor, you must migrate your existing profiles, upgrade the database, and migrate the dashboards.
If you are migrating from WebSphere® Business Monitor 6.2.x, you must also migrate the Alphablox repository. If you are migrating from WebSphere Business Monitor 6.1.x, you must also migrate the Alphablox repository, deploy the Monitor scheduled services, and perform a configuration step that updates the Alphablox cubes and registers the migrated monitor models to the scheduled services.
The IBM Cognos Business Intelligence service is not ready to use after migration and can be configured optionally during the migration.
