Configuring model version properties

You can use the WebSphere® Application Server administrative console to view the general properties of a specific version of a model as well as its version properties: managing schema, enabling data movement service, managing IBM® Cognos® BI cubes, changing the event consumption mode, changing the runtime configuration, viewing the model XML file, purging the model version, and purging and archiving instance data.

Viewing monitor model version general properties
You can use the WebSphere Application Server administrative console to view the general properties of a version of a monitor model.
Creating the schema
If the schema was not created during installation of a monitor model, you can use the WebSphere Application Server administrative console to run the create schema script locally or export the create schema script to a DDL file to be run at a later time or to be run remotely.
Managing monitor model database schemas in a secured database
If the runtime IBM Business Monitor database user does not have administrative privileges, a database administrator must manually run the monitor model create schema and enable the database movement service and delete schema scripts. You must alter the scripts to grant the monitor model database objects to the IBM Business Monitor runtime database user.
Managing IBM Cognos BI cubes
IBM Cognos BI cubes enable further data analysis and representation capabilities for IBM Business Monitor dashboards. You can use the administrative console to publish, export, or delete IBM Cognos BI cube packages. You can also see information about when the cubes were last published and when any fine-grained security rules were last updated.
Modifying the runtime configuration of a model
Use the WebSphere Application Server administrative console to configure event processing and on-time situations for a specified version of a monitor model.
Viewing the monitor model XML file
You can use the WebSphere Application Server administrative console to view the monitor model XML file.
