Use this page to select the nodes for the deployment environment.
When needed, you can add more nodes to the deployment environment
through the administrative console or by using the addNodetoDeploymentEnvDef command.
The page displays the nodes currently federated to the deployment
manager.
To add nodes to the deployment environment, click Select on
the row that contains the node to include. The minimum number of nodes
required for the topology is indicated in Number of nodes
needed.
Parameters displayed in the table
The table
displays the following parameters to describe each node.
- Select
- Click this control to add the node described by the row to the
deployment environment.
- Node
- The name of the node.

- The name of the host on which the node resides. This node must
resolve to an IP address for the host.
- Number of nodes needed
- Displays the minimum number of nodes required to meet the constraints
