Modifying workflow tasks for governance process app

IBM Blueworks Live provides simplified governance controls that enhance efficiency. The Edit and Republish buttons are an example of such streamlined management options.

These intuitive controls allow users to easily modify and update workflow tasks for governance process apps. The Edit button facilitates the updates to workflow tasks, enabling adjustments to be made within the configured process apps. The Republish button quickly apply the modifications to be reflected in the governance process app. Together, these controls improve governance workflow oversight and adaptability.

Tip: The Edit option is available for governance process apps that are configured at the account or space level. For all other published governance apps, you can unpublish, make changes, and republish the app.

Procedure

  1. Click Edit.
    1. Go to the Workflow Tasks section.
    2. Click Edit.
      The Workflow Tasks section becomes editable.
  2. Make your changes:
    Modify the workflow tasks as needed. Like, updating the task description, changing the task assignee, or adding or removing tasks to fit the governance requirements.
  3. Republish the process blueprint:
    1. After you have made the changes, click Republish to apply the modifications.
      These changes get reflected in the governance process app.
  4. Optional: Discard changes:
    1. If you do not want to save the modifications, click Cancel.
      All unsaved changes are discarded, and the Workflow Tasks section gets reverted to its previous state.
