Do I need a Blueworks Live certificate?
The vast majority of IBM Blueworks Live users don't need to download a certificate. The certificate is handled seamlessly for them by their browser.
A certificate allows for secure connections between the Blueworks Live web server and your browser, or a system or service you're using. The Blueworks Live SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate is a small data file that provides security for online communications.
The following users might need to download the latest Blueworks Live certificate:
- Account administrators who are responsible for a Blueworks Live account that uses single sign-on (SSO) and must provide the Blueworks Live certificate to the administrator of their SSO service.
- IBM® Business Process Management (BPM) or IBM Business Automation Workflow administrators or operators who are configuring an instance to subscribe to Blueworks Live.
- Administrators who are configuring third-party software providers to connect to Blueworks Live through the Blueworks Live API.
