Do I need a Blueworks Live certificate?

The vast majority of IBM Blueworks Live users don't need to download a certificate. The certificate is handled seamlessly for them by their browser.

A certificate allows for secure connections between the Blueworks Live web server and your browser, or a system or service you're using. The Blueworks Live SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate is a small data file that provides security for online communications.

The following users might need to download the latest Blueworks Live certificate:
  • Account administrators who are responsible for a Blueworks Live account that uses single sign-on (SSO) and must provide the Blueworks Live certificate to the administrator of their SSO service.
  • IBM® Business Process Management (BPM) or IBM Business Automation Workflow administrators or operators who are configuring an instance to subscribe to Blueworks Live.
  • Administrators who are configuring third-party software providers to connect to Blueworks Live through the Blueworks Live API.
These users can download the latest Blueworks Live certificate from the browser, typically by clicking the lock icon in the browser location bar. Consult your browser documentation for additional instructions.
