Adding color legends

You can add color legends to describe the set of colors to use in diagrams and the significance of each color. Any editor can then use a color legend to add color to their process diagrams and discovery maps in a meaningful way. Your organization can standardize on one or several color legends that teams can use.

  1. In the Admin page, open the Settings > Customization tab.
  2. In the Color legends section, click Create to add a color legend. Give the legend a name and description. Then, for each color you want, add a label. Only the colors with labels are available in the color legend.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Click the visibility icon to show or hide the details of the color legend on the Admin page. If you choose to show the details, you can hover over each color to see its label.
  5. To update or delete color legends, use the Options menu icon menu for each legend.
