of the SAP system-dependent groups and their naming conventions.
Each SAP system-dependent group contains all the resources that are needed for the operation of a
certain SAP system. The recommended general naming convention is SAP<SID>_X.
Thus, you can easily filter on the NetView Management Console (NMC) or define SDF panels for monitoring the resources that are required by a
specific SAP system.
Figure 1 shows the details of the SAPSID_X group. This SID-specific group comprises the following components:
