CEMEM0005E An exception occurred while using an emitter. 0

Explanation

There was a problem creating a new Common Event Infrastructure (CEI) emitter using the emitter factory resolved from Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI). A likely cause of the problem is that the JNDI location specified in the configuration of the Common Event Infrastructure (CEI) default emitter has a value that is not valid.

User response

In the administrative console, in the configuration of the CEI default emitter, change the JNDI location to a valid value. For a standalone server this value is usually set to com/ibm/events/configuration/emitter/Default, however in a clustered environment this needs to be set to the CEI server in the cluster that is configured to emit events. Read the text of the exception for information on where in the process the problem occurred.
