Managing role instances

Managing role instances can include tasks like viewing instances, editing instance properties, and creating or deleting instances.

Viewing role instances
You can view detailed information for the selected role instance, including the role name, role element, key attributes and property values, status, and logical state.
Creating or deleting role instances
You can create a new role instance for a relationship. Note that you can set the key attribute value only when creating the role instance; it cannot be changed after the changes are made in the database.

When a role instance is no longer needed, you can delete it.

Editing role instance properties
If property values have previously been defined for a role instance, you can use the relationship manager to edit those values.
