You can clear the cache associated with a WSRR definition, using the administrative console.

About this task

When mediation flows query a registry, the information returned is stored in a cache associated with the WSRR definition (information relating to service endpoints and mediation policies can be cached).

Updates to WSRR might invalidate query results that have been cached. Therefore, you can clear cached results, so that the next registry query uses the new values.

Procedure

  1. Expand Service integration > WSRR definitions in the navigation pane.
The WSRR definitions page displays in the content pane, showing a list of all the WSRR definitions.
  2. Select the check boxes next to the WSRR definitions whose caches you want to clear.
  3. Click Clear all active caches.

Results

The caches, associated with the WSRR definitions you selected, are cleared.

What to do next

If you want to clear the cache using commands, see: Example: Clearing the cache using commands.
