Task Toolbar widget
The Task Toolbar widget is included in the Process Task Details Adapter page by default. However, you can add the Task Toolbar widget to any page.
You can edit the settings of the Task Toolbar widget to control whether the following information is displayed in the header information:
- Task name
- Process instance name
- Parent case title (ID)
- Task due date
The Task Toolbar widget settings dialog includes two tabs:
- Settings - Configure the header information display options and process task actions
- Toolbars - Configure toolbar-related settings
In the Settings tab, you can configure the Process Task Actions section to control which actions are available in the task toolbar. The following actions can be enabled or disabled by selecting or clearing the corresponding check boxes:
- Reassign Item - Allows users to reassign the task to another user
- Return Item - Allows users to return the task
- View Instance - Allows users to view the process instance details
- View Audit History - Allows users to view the audit history of the task
- Modify Instance - Allows users to modify the process instance
- Modify Task - Allows users to modify task properties
- View Process Diagram - Allows users to view the process diagram
When the process instance name is displayed, it includes a link that opens the Process Instances view and displays it in its own Case tab. The associated process diagram is also displayed in its own Case tab.
When the parent case title (ID) is displayed, it includes a link that opens the parent case in the Case Details page.
- On the Pages tab of Case Builder, expand Task Details pages and click the Process Task Details Adapter link to open the page in Page Designer.
- In Page Designer, click the Edit Settings icon of the Task Toolbar widget.
- In the Task Toolbar dialog box, click the Settings tab if it is not already selected.
- Ensure that the check boxes are selected for the header information that you want to display.
- In the Process Task Actions section, select the check boxes for the actions that you want to make available to users in the task toolbar.
- Click OK to save your changes.
