Adding an existing or a copied solution to a VCS (deprecated)

For a solution that existed before you integrated with a version control system (VCS), you should establish an initial baseline version in the VCS before you make additional changes to that solution. You should also establish an initial baseline version for a copied solution.

Procedure

To create a baseline in the VCS for an existing or a copied solution:

  1. Open Case Builder.
  2. On the Manage Solutions page, click More actions > Deliver for the solution.

Results

Case Builder runs your deliver script to create a baseline for the solution in the VCS. You can now edit the solution.
