You can create deployment packages of a process applications snapshot to install it to workflow servers that are not connected to the Workflow Center server, but to use custom deployment packages instead of generic ones you must first add an offline server to Workflow Center.

Before you begin

You must have administrative access to the Workflow Center repository to add, edit, or remove offline servers. For more information, see Granting access to the Workflow Center repository.

Procedure

To add offline servers to Workflow Center:

  1. Click the Servers tab in Workflow Center.
  2. Click Add a New Offline Server.
  3. In the Create New Server window, give the server a unique name, choose the environment type, provide a description (optional), and then click Create.
Note: The environment type can restrict what process app access requirements are needed to create a deployment package and what instance migration options are available so be sure to choose the appropriate type. For more information, see Restricting installation access to runtime servers.

Results

The new server is displayed in the Servers tab. You can change the name, environment type, and description at any time by clicking Edit.

For more information about deployment packages, see Installing process application snapshots.
