You can use the Uninstall option in IBM® Installation Manager to uninstall packages from a single installation location. You can also uninstall all the installed packages from every installation location.

Before you begin

Stop IBM Process Federation Server. Close all programs that you used Installation Manager to install.

About this task

To uninstall the packages, you must log in to the system using the same user account that you used to install the product packages. You cannot uninstall a package when another package has a dependency on it, unless you also select the dependent package to be uninstalled.

Procedure

  1. Open Installation Manager and go to the Uninstall Packages page.
  2. On the Uninstall Packages page, select the IBM Process Federation Server package and the associated packages that you want to uninstall, and click Next.
  3. On the Summary page, review the list of packages that will be uninstalled, and then click Uninstall
After the uninstallation finishes, the Complete page opens.
  4. Click Finish to exit the wizard.

What to do next

After you uninstall, you can delete files that remain in the file system. Also, if Installation Manager is not being used by any other products, you can uninstall it.
