Deploying a solution makes it available as an application in the target environment.

About this task

To deploy a solution, you must first deploy any IBM® external assets that were created outside of IBM Business Automation Workflow and IBM Content Cortex tools. You then import Content Cortex assets that must be deployed before the solution package is deployed.

After you deploy the legacy case solution or the IBM Business Automation Workflow project other assets that are managed by Content Cortex must be deployed.

When you deploy the solution to a target environment for the first time, you must deploy the solution under the same locale to ensure that the display names are preserved.
