Creating a reverse map

You can use the business object map editor to create a new map that is the reverse of an existing one.

About this task

To use the reverse map function in the business object map editor, follow these steps:

Procedure

  1. From the business object map editor, open the business object map to create a reverse map.
  2. Click Create reverse map from the toolbar:
    Create reverse map icon on the toolbar
  3. The New Reverse Business Object Map window opens. Complete the wizard.
    The new reverse map opens in the business object map editor.

What to do next

Note that you can also create a reverse map by selecting the existing map from the Business Integration view and right-clicking on the map and then selecting Reverse Map.
