Log files for solution deployment

You can view the errors in the log or additional details about a solution deployment at any time by using IBM® Administration Console for Content Platform Engine to open the log file. The Error Deployment Log and the Detail Deployment Log files are stored in the /IBM Case Manager/Solution Deployments/solution_name folder in the target object store.

The deployment logs are useful for troubleshooting problems with the way a solution is defined, and the logs can provide context for problems with a solution. Depending on the seriousness of a problem, the solution deployment logs might not be available. Additional troubleshooting information is available in the other application log files.

To view the deployment logs:
  1. Log in to IBM Administration Console for Content Platform Engine.
  2. Expand the Object stores folder and double-click the target object store.
  3. Expand the Browse folder.
  4. Expand the Root folder.
  5. Expand the IBM Business Automation Workflow folder and click the Solution Deployments folder.
  6. To view information about a log file, click the entry for the log file.
  7. To view the contents of a log file, select the log file and click Actions > View/Download.
