Inbound events for the BPM document store
The BPM document store
supports a subset of the inbound content event types that are supported by external ECM systems.
Event subscriptions for the BPM document store can only be created
using the IBM_BPM_Document type.
The inbound content event types that are supported for the BPM document store are listed in the
following table:
| Inbound content event types |
Associated object types |
Description |
|---|---|---|
| Checked In | Documents | An event produced when a user checks in a document. |
| Checked Out | Documents | An event produced when a user checks out a document. |
| Check Out Canceled | Documents | An event produced when a user cancels the checkout of a document. |
| Created | Documents | An event produced when a user adds a document to the object store. |
| Deleted | Documents | An event produced when a user deletes a document. When a document is deleted, an event is fired for each item in the version series. For example, if a user deletes a document that has ten versions, ten events are fired. |
| Updated | Documents | An event produced on any action that updates the property values or
content of a document. Behavior will vary depending on the object and the action. Note: An Updated
event is fired each time a new document is created.
