Quick tasks are simple activities that you define and add to a case. You can use quick tasks to organize your work, track one-time tasks, or similar activities. For example, you might create a quick task to make a follow-up call to a client or to locate files that are needed for the case.

About this task

You create a quick task for a specific case. You can assign a quick task to another user, provide a quick task description, add attachments, or set a due date.

Procedure

To add a quick task to a case:

  1. On the Case Details page, enter a name in the Quick Task field and press Enter.
    You can repeat this step to add more quick tasks.
  2. Optional: Expand the quick task to add a description, set a due date, assign the quick task, or add attachments.

    While adding attachments to quick tasks, you can select appropriate document class from the Document type drop-down list.
