When you create a project, IBM® Business Automation Workflow creates a single default branch named Main. If you create additional branches, you can configure one of the new branches as the default branch.

About this task

When a branch is the default branch, the library items in it run by default when the Workflow Center server receives an event or other trigger that applies to items in more than one branch. For example, when you run a service by using a URL and that service exists in more than one branch, the service in the default branch runs.

Procedure

To set the default branch in the classic Workflow Center, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the Process apps or Toolkits tab.
  2. Select the project that contains the branch you want.
  3. Select the branch that you want set as default.
  4. Click the menu of the branch and select Set as default.
