You can define new, non-default project areas, assign solutions and users to a project
area, and remove project areas.
Before you begin
Be sure to have your completed configuration checklist available.
About this task
You can define project areas for the development environment by using the IBM® Business Automation
Workflow
administration client. After you define a project area, you must register it before you can use
it.
Restriction: Each project area requires
a unique connection point, and only one connection point can be associated
with a target object store.
Procedure
To define a new project area:
- Start the Case administration client.
Enter the following URL in a
browser:
http://server:port/navigator/?desktop=bawadmin
where
server is the IBM Content
Navigator IP address or
fully qualified server name, and
port is the
IBM Content
Navigator port
number.
-
In the navigation tree in the left panel, select a design object store and click
Project Areas.
-
On the Project Areas panel in the right panel, click
Define and complete the steps.
-
Register the project area.
-
On the Project Areas panel in the right panel, select the project area to
register.
-
Click
and complete the steps.
Note: The configure case integration is internally handled by the register project area task.
- On the Project Areas panel in the right panel, click
Actions > Register and complete the
steps.
Note: The JMS information page in the steps is specific to Cloud Pak for
Business Automation configurations.
