REST interface for BPEL-related process resources - Activity Instance Fault Data Resource - GET Method

Use this method to retrieve the fault data of an activity.

GET /rest/bpm/bfm/v1/activity/{aiid}/fault?faultName={string}[&new={boolean}]

Parameters

Name of the fault for which a new fault is to be created - only allowed with new=true.

Response Content

Activity fault. Data defined by an XML Schema simple type is wrapped in an XML/JSON element provided by this REST interface (see Simple-Typed Data).

The default content-type is application/xml.

MIME Type: application/xml

The XML Schema type/element is defined as part of the custom task definition. If the parameter "new" is specified then only the root element with its namespace declarations is returned.

MIME Type: application/json

The JSON Schema can be derived from the XML Schema type/element definition (see [JSON Format]). If the parameter "new" is specified then the root element in JSON format will always be an empty JSON object ("{ }").

Status codes

The method returns one of the following status codes:

A fault is not meaningful for this kind of activity.
404 Not Found
The activity or the activity fault does not exist.

500 Internal Server ErrorA severe problem has occurred. Programmer's details are provided.
