Accessing the Process Admin Console

Use the Process Admin Console to manage the workflow servers in your runtime environments, as well as the playback server on IBM Business Automation Studio.

Before you can access the Process Admin Console for either IBM Business Automation Studio or IBM® Workflow Server Runtime, you need to make sure that the default admin user is set in the custom resource for the admin_user parameter. For more information, see IBM Business Automation Studio parameters External link opens a new window or tab or .

To access the Process Admin Console, perform one of the following actions:

  • Point your web browser to: http://[host_name]:[port]/ProcessAdmin, providing the name of the host on which the server is installed and the port number for the workflow server.
  • In the Business Automation Studio console, go to the Administration area, and on the Collaborators tab, click the Process Admin Console link.

Log in to the Process Admin Console as an administrator.

When the Process Admin Console starts, it displays the Server Admin capabilities. If you want to manage your installed applications, click the Installed Apps option.
Attention: In a deployment where IBM Business Automation Workflow and IBM Automation® Workstream Services coexist in the same container, the installed apps list includes the Workstream Services and Workstream Services Catalog apps. It is strongly recommended that none of the workstream apps that use the restricted RWF, RWFT, RWFC or RWFRT acronyms be touched.

In the Process Admin Console, the name of the workflow server you are currently accessing is displayed.

You can click the menu icon to unveil the side menu. Then, you can click a dropdown icon next to a category to see the available options.
Note: It is expected that when you access the Process Admin Console, it downloads the CSS fonts for the Carbon Design System from 1.www.s81c.com. If browser console errors occur, you can add 1.www.s81c.com to the content security policy.
