The default Process Portal login
page contains an IBM logo. You can replace this logo with your own
company logo by customizing the Process Portal application.
About this task
The content of the login page is specified by the login.jsp file
in the Process Portal application.
To change the logo, update the application by adding the graphic file
for your company logo and changing the login.jsp file
to point to your logo instead of the IBM one.
Procedure
- Export the Process Portal application:
- Start the administrative console and go to .
- Select the Process Portal application
(IBM BPM Responsive Portal), click Export,
and save the EAR file to an empty directory.
- Update the login page files in the Process Portal EAR
file with your logo information:
- In your file explorer, go to the directory that contains
the exported EAR file and extract the files.
The
extracted files include the responsivePortal.war file,
which includes the login.jsp file and the logo
graphic file.
- Extract the files in the responsivePortal.war file
to a new directory.
- In the new directory, open the login.jsp file
in a text editor, and change the
src
attribute to
point to your company logo: <img class="ibm-logo" src="img/ibm-logo.png" alt="" />
For example, if the
mycorp.png file
is the graphic file for your logo, the code looks as follows:
<img class="ibm-logo" src="img/mycorp.png" alt="" />
- Add your graphic file to the img directory.
- Compress the files in the responsivePortal.war directory.
- Replace the responsivePortal.war file
in the exported Process Portal EAR
file with your updated file.
- Replace the deployed Process Portal application
with your updated version:
- In the administrative console, go to .
- Select the Process Portal application
and click Update.
- From the update options, select Replace the
entire application, and enter the fully qualified path
of the updated EAR file.
- Click Next and follow the steps
to update the Process Portal application.
Results
The next time your users log in to Process Portal, they
see your company log on the login page instead of the IBM logo.
