User roles

As a dashboard owner, only you can see it and share it. For more advanced work, users with a Zen role can grant permissions to other users.

Dashboard owner

Your dashboard is visible only to you until you share it with your colleagues, and only the person who created the dashboard and its underlying charts can edit them. For more information about sharing, see Working collaboratively with dashboards and charts.

Specific authorization

The following actions are open only to users with specific authorization.

Grant users permissions to access the data that originates from monitoring sources. See Setting up data permissions.
Work with template dashboards, including to use the REST API. See Setting permissions to manage dashboard templates.
