Creating a production deployment

You can deploy a custom resource file by running the deployment script.

The deployment script generates a custom resource file with the selected options.
Checking and completing your custom resource
A custom resource YAML is a configuration file that describes an instance of a deployment that is created by one or more of the BAI operators and includes parameters to install Business Automation Insights
Deploying the custom resource you created
To install the deployment, you must apply the custom resource to the operator.
Recommended: Validating your production deployment
Instead of manually checking all the URLs and certificates that are created by your deployment, you can run a script to validate these objects automatically in a few minutes.
Optional: Installing network policies
The BAI operator does not create network policies, but you can use the utility script bai-network-policies.sh to retrieve and install network policy templates to restrict network access.
